CLASS OF 2020 GRADUATION!
Graduation will be held TOMORROW (Saturday, June 6, 2020) at 10:00 a.m. at the Dollar Bay Ball Field. The parking lot will be reserved for senior parents and guests that have a ticket to enter the parking lot. Connect to the audio using your car radio at 93.5 FM. You can get the app to listen online, but note that there will be a delay.
Whether audience in vehicles or grandparents far away, you may connect to the streaming ceremony at https://www.facebook.com/dollarbayhighschool/
Social distancing requirements are still in place. The school must follow and must require that people at any school event follow these protocols. This means people from different households must stay 6 feet or more apart from one another. We will allow a parent/family to step out of their vehicle briefly when their graduate is receiving their diploma, in order to see better for a moment or snap a picture or take a video, or wave and cheer. Then, please get right back in your vehicle so we don’t inadvertently get too close to others.
The ball park will be reserved for Graduation from 8:00 a.m. until approximately noon. The parking lot opens at 9 a.m. for ticket holders.
At 9:30 a.m. (until 9:52 a.m.), a YouTube scheduled event will take place: The DB-TC Senior Slide Show (pictures from childhood through senior year)!
Enjoy! https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=3sDSGpmWS2Q&feature=youtu.be
Following commencement exercises, the Class of 2020 will parade through town (down main street to Fir Avenue and then back to the school)! Come on out and show your love and support to our senior class (socially distancing).
Another big thank-you to all those who have made possible and have helped with this unique ceremony!
