DB-TC SCHOOL BOARD VACANCY

The DB-TC Board of Education must appoint a new member. The board will review applications and will appoint a new member at a special meeting on October 6. 

Eligibility: 

-Must be at least 18 years old and registered to vote 

-Must live within the DB-TC school district boundaries

-Cannot be a current employee of Dollar Bay-Tamarack City Area Schools 

Term: 

Once appointed, the new member will serve through November 3, 2026, the date of the next general election. The appointed board member may seek re-election on that ballot, and if approved by voters, would serve through December 2028. The appointed member could continue to seek re-election. Board seats are 6-year terms. 

The DB-TC board meets the third Monday of each month at 5:30 p.m.

Interested candidates should send a letter of application with a brief biography and explanation of interest in serving to Mitzi Dube, district secretary, at dubem@dbschools.us by 12 p.m. on Tuesday, September 30.
