Early College is an option available to our high school juniors and seniors that allows students to earn both high school and college credit through Gogebic Community College. Students enrolled in our EC program can earn up to 56 transferrable credits at no cost. Students work with the career counseling department to create an Educational Development Plan (EDP) containing a customized academic and career pathway. The EDP is aligned with Michigan high school graduation requirements, State examination requirements, and GCC’s General Education Program. Early College is an excellent way for prepared students to begin earning college credits during high school.   

We provide students with a rigorous track for college readiness and preparation through the college bound cohort as determined by student achievement and educational progress. Interested students and parents should discuss the Early College option with Mrs. Butler, guidance counselor.
